Valar Immigration is a boutique law firm dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate the complex and ever-changing immigration laws of the United States. The founding attorney, Omar Vaquerano, has been an immigration attorney for over 5 years. During this time, he has helped 1000+ individuals and their families with their immigration needs.

At Valar Immigration, we believe that everyone deserves a chance to live, work, and thrive in the United States, regardless of their background, nationality, or circumstances. We understand the challenges and frustrations that immigrants face, and we are committed to providing them with the best legal representation possible. We handle all types of immigration cases, such as family-based petitions, asylum, naturalization, deportation defense, employment-based visas, and more.

The name of our firm, Valar Immigration, reflects both our personal and professional values. It is derived from the last names the firm’s founder, who is also an immigrant and has a passion for helping others achieve their American dream. It also evokes the word “velero”, a vessel that symbolizes the immigrant’s journey and our firm’s mission to guide our clients through the stormy waters of immigration.

What sets us apart from other law firms is our personalized and holistic approach to immigration law. We treat each client as a unique individual, and we tailor our services to meet their specific goals and needs. We also care about our clients beyond their legal issues, and we offer them support and guidance throughout their immigration journey. We have a proven track record of success, and we have helped hundreds of clients achieve their immigration objectives.

We also recognize that migration has been a part of humankind’s history since ancient times and has contributed to the development of society and richness of human culture. We celebrate the diversity and resilience of our clients, and we respect their traditions and values. We are proud to be a part of their stories, and are honored to be partners in their immigration journey.

We start with an initial consultation, where you will meet with attorney Omar Vaquerano to discuss your case. Using a clinical approach, he will have a conversation with you to fully understand your immigration history, background, and personal circumstances, and provide you with legal advice that is tailored to you.

If we determined that you are eligible for some immigration benefit or a form of relief with USCIS or the Immigration Court, then you will have the option of hiring Valar Immigration to represent you. The representation can include the preparation and filing of petitions or applications for immigration benefits with immigration agencies, or for relief before the immigration courts.

We will go the extra mile to not only prepare the applications for you and file them but will also do our best to explain the process to you in a way that is easy to understand, so that you can feel empowered throughout the course of the case. An attorney can be at your side when you need it most. We will act as your partners and see you through from the beginning to the end of the process.

Omar A. Vaquerano (Managing Attorney) is the founder and managing attorney of Valar Immigration, where he provides legal representation and expert advice to clients on various immigration matters. His practice covers areas such as visas, asylum, naturalization, deportation, and waivers.

Originally from El Salvador, Omar obtained his first law degree in his home country before immigrating to the United States in 2012. Having personally navigated the challenges faced by immigrants seeking a better life, he became a permanent resident and later a U.S. citizen.

Omar Vaquerano shares a common bond with his clients: he, too, came to this country seeking better opportunities and understands personally the struggles faced by immigrants striving to build a better life here. After years of dedicated effort, he obtained his green card with the invaluable support of his family in the United States. With a deep understanding of the complexities of immigration law, Omar is dedicated to helping others achieve their American dream. His commitment to compassionate and effective legal advocacy sets him apart in the field.

Upon arriving in the U.S., Omar pursued a Master of Laws (LLM) degree at the USC Gould School of Law in Los Angeles, followed by a Juris Doctor (JD) degree at the Emory University School of Law in Atlanta. He is licensed to practice law in both New York and El Salvador. Initially, Omar worked as a litigator, skillfully resolving commercial disputes for companies through international commercial arbitration proceedings in Latin America. However, his path took a significant turn when he assisted his own wife in immigrating to the U.S. after their marriage in El Salvador.

For the past six years, Omar has focused exclusively on immigration law. His expertise spans family-based petitions, citizenship applications, removal defense, and employment-based petitions. Fluent in both English and Spanish, he relishes working with clients from diverse backgrounds. What sets Omar apart is his unwavering belief that successful representation of immigrant clients requires genuine care for their lives beyond legal matters. He doesn’t view them merely as cases; instead, he passionately advocates for their well-being, understanding that empathy is the cornerstone of effective legal support.
